Developer Ben Snelling overcame the problem in conjunction with Dean Lawson of Custom Concrete to re-pour the coloured slab using a bonded topping - problem solved and the result is spectacular.
Peter Fell colour 673 was used to give the subtle tones that suited the interior design.
Bonded toppings require a wet-on-wet epoxy bonding agent such as Sikadur32, and an aggregate with a max aggregate stone size of a third to a quarter of the slab thickness.
