Mission Bay Pavilion

Herbst Architects have teamed up with Katie Lockhart Studio to custom design the outdoor concrete furniture for top eatery Mission Bay Pavilion. PFL 301 colour was used to get the perfect tone for the environment!

The team at made exact replicas from the artist's 3d prototypes by making fibreglass and rubber moulds of the originals. The tables, chairs and bench seats were then cast using a high-performance concrete with glass fibre reinforcing. This allowed them to keep the weight down whilst maintaining structural integrity.
