Te Puke Heritage Walkway and Plaza Redevelopment

Boffa Miskell Limited was engaged by Western Bay of Plenty District Council to design, consult with the local advisory board, consent and manage the construction of the newly redeveloped Te Puke Heritage Walkway, a key link between the main commercial street in Te Puke and Jubilee Park, the town's central recreation reserve.

The second stage of the development which is currently under construction includes a large public plaza and market space combined with a new events stage and major destination playground.

To date, despite initial reservations from certain community members, the project has been extremely successful and well received by the community at large.

Client: Western Bay of Plenty District Council
